Why Philosopher - Statesmen?

Why Philosopher - Statesmen?

"Unless philosophers become kings and kings take to the power and spirit of Philosophy, unless Wisdom and political leadership meet in one man - cities shall never cease from ill nor the human race - Plato, Republic.

Because Philosopher - Statesmen are instruments of the Zeit-Geist, of the Kala Purusha, whose actions are in conformity with Universal Will.

The Lord blessed King Dhruva thus

Thou shalt have
Powers both eternal and temporal
Rajyam chiram samanubhooya
Bhaja swabhooya
Sarvottaram Dhruva
Padam hi nivritti heenam.

Jove moves over to Virgo today, 11/08/2016.
http://www.eastrovedica.com/html/transitjupiter.htm

The exiting Pushya Solar Transit had unleashed  Typhoon Nida ! The Sun's longitude touched 106 deg 40 minutes on 02082016 , initiating Aslesha  Njattuvela. There will be intermittent rains during Aslesha.

Sun moved over to 90 degrees, Cancer, initiating the Sacred Ramayana Masa on 16/07/2016  and Southern Solstice,  Dakshinayana  at 1015 AM. This Holy Period is good for detoxification and for Self Actualisation ! ( Detox of both body and mind is a must for SA ). Jupiter, the make or break planet, moves over, from Leo to Virgo, on Aug 11th in Hindu Astrology.

Daskhinayana - when Sun's longitude is in between 90 and 270.
Uttarayana - when Sun's longitude is in between 270 and 90.

When the Sun's Zodiacal longitude touched 26 degrees 40 minutes ( Karthika Njattuvela ) , pre monsoon showers started in Kerala. When it touched 45 degrees ( Edava Pathi ), rains intensified and when it touched 53 degrees 20 minutes( Makeeryam Njattuvela ), rains became pronounced ( Makeeryam Mathi marannu peyyum ). Rains stabilised when Soorya Sphuta reached 66 deg 40 minutes ( the famous Thiruvathira Njattuvela), proving Astro Meteorology true.

Sun entered 80 degrees ( Punarvasu Njattuvela ) and immediately unleashed Typhoon Nepartak ! While scientists explain hurricanes as the result of variations in temperature and pressure, we know it as the variations in the positions of the luminaries, Sun and Moon. Sun enters 93 degrees 20 minutes, the Saturnine Pushya constellation on 19th, at 1007 PM.

The Sun causeth the Four Seasons of the West and the Six Seasons of India, Rithu Kartha Prabhakarah ! Also the New Moon and the Full Moon days figure prominently in Hindu Astro Meteorology, as the combined gravitational pulls of these celestial bodies can cause high tides ( Hurricanes Sandy, Erika, Hagupit )!

Typhoon Hayan occurred on the First Quarter Moon ( when Moon squares the Sun ). Prof Yaukey averred ( based on the data observed on the Atlantic Ocean from 1950 - 2007 ) that storms are more likely to form after a New Moon and that storms infensified after a New Moon in the 29.5 days of a lunar month ! Scientists warned that Hurricane Irene can be more dangerous on New Moon Day !

Beware of the Sun's transits of the 'monsoon constellations', called the fierce Njattuvelas.

Mrigasira ( Hurricane Christina, Kedarnath Floods )
Aridra ( Hurricanes Bonnie, Alex, Arthur. Fengshen, Guj Floods, Matmo )
Punarvasu ( Hurricanes Dennis, Blanca, Toronto Floods, Alaskan Mega Tsunami, Nangka, Halong )
Pushya ( Hurricanes Genevieve. Dolly, Pak Floods, Mumbai Floods )
Aslesha ( Typhoons Hanna, Utor, Goni, Saola, Damrey )
Magha ( Hurricanes Isaac, Andrew, Irene, Katrina, Omar, Erika )
Pooram ( Hurricanes Elena, Ike, Tidal Bore, Fran, Etau )
Uthara ( Hurricanes Igor, Odile, Vipa, 1938 Hurricane )
Hasta ( Hurricanes Opal, Jelawat, Lili, Jangmi )
Chithra ( Typhoons Vongfong, Sandy, Wilma )
Swathi ( Typhoon Fransisco, Rosing )
Vishakha ( Typhoons Haiyan, Sidr, Chennai Floods, Agnes, Lupit, Nida )
Anuradha ( Typhoons Yuri, Kate )
Jyeshta ( Lake Isabella Floods, Nona, Hagupit )
Moola ( Typhoon Sendong, Indian Tsunami )

Rain fall can be expected in India, particularly Kerala, from Karthika ( Pleiades or " Rainy Stars" Njattuvela ( May 11 ) to Moola Njattuvela ( Dec 29 ). We find Nature unleashing her fury when the Sun's Sidereal Zodiacal Longitude is in between 53 and 253 ! It may be a coincidence that the Galactic Center at Moola and the Anti Galactic Center at Mrigasira play a great role in Weather Forecasting !

Astrology is an indicative science. When Transit Moon comes to the 8th Sign from Chandra Lagna ( Lunar Ascendant), Chandra Ashtama occurs.Chandra Ashtama means the inauspicious periods which one should avoid, Ashtama Indum cha tad rasim varjayeth sarva karmasu. My Second Transit Jupiter has been positive and has given me a popular site, www.g4marry.com ( inception, 161015 ). But Saturn in the 5th is creating immense expenditure. So these transits are corroborated by Intuition and experience !

Vaishakha, a Holy Month for the Eternians.

On 07 May 2016, we have the second lunar month of Vaishakha, which is considered a Holy Month for the Eternians. Like the Vrischika Punya Masa, the month of Sidereal Scorpio, Vaishakha is full of esoteric significance. Vaishakha is the Lunar Month, when the Solar Ingress into Scorpio takes place, Vaishakhe Vrisha Sankranti. Guruvayur, the fourth largest pilgrim center in the world, becomes full of pilgrims.

The Baisakhi Festival, the beginning of the Punjabi Calendar bears close resemblance to Vaisakha. Also the Vaikaasi, the second lunar month in the Tamil Calendar. It is called Pohela Boisakh in Bengal and Bohag Bihu in Assam.
